It used to be that the colour lilac called to my mind images of old ladies with a bad rinse and chintzy bridesmaids dresses, but I've come to realize that, in the right hands, lilac is a pretty awesome colour. I especially like the shade that leans a little towards the grey end of the spectrum, particularly in home decor, because it's so darned chic. What do you think? Could the following images influence your opinion?
